Finned Tube Water-Saving Mist-Eliminating Cooling Tower
The fin tube water-saving and demisting cooling tower is an energy-efficient cooling equipment that combines fin tube heat exchange technology, water-saving design and demisting function. Its core is to increase the contact area between air and heat transfer surface through fin tubes, improve heat exchange efficiency, and thus reduce water evaporation. Unlike traditional cooling towers, this equipment adopts indirect heat exchange, which reduces water loss during the cooling process and has a significant water-saving effect. The demisting device effectively captures water droplets, prevents water mist from drifting, reduces water waste and reduces the impact on the surrounding environment. In addition, the equipment also has a low-noise design, which is suitable for industrial cooling, commercial building air conditioning systems and data centers. The overall design is environmentally friendly, water-saving, and energy-efficient, suitable for scenes with water shortages and high environmental protection requirements.
Core Technology
Fin tube heat exchange technology
Traditional cooling towers use water evaporation for direct heat exchange, while fin tube cooling towers use fin tube heat exchangers, and their working principle is different from that of traditional cooling towers. Fin tubes are heat exchange tubes with a large number of metal fins on the surface, which increases the heat transfer surface area and improves the heat exchange efficiency between air and tube wall.
- Heat exchange principle: hot water is passed into the fin tubes in the cooling tower, and forced ventilation cold air flows outside the fin tubes. Due to the large surface area of the fin tubes, air can quickly take away heat and achieve effective heat exchange. In this way, heat can be taken away without relying on a large amount of water evaporation, which greatly reduces water consumption.
- Air cooling: In a high temperature environment, the fin tubes dissipate heat through forced air cooling, avoiding the water-gas mixing method in traditional cooling towers, so the evaporation loss of the fin tube cooling tower is significantly reduced.
Water-saving design
The water-saving technology of the fin tube cooling tower is mainly reflected in reducing evaporation and recycling water.
- Reduce evaporation loss: Since the finned tubes take away most of the heat through indirect heat exchange, the cooling water does not need to be in direct contact with the air like traditional cooling towers. Therefore, the evaporation loss of water is significantly reduced, reducing the water consumption during the cooling process.
- Water recovery system: There is also a specially designed water recovery device in the cooling tower to collect and recycle the water after heat exchange. This method is particularly suitable for areas with water shortages and can significantly reduce the amount of water replenishment.
Efficient demisting technology
Water mist drift is a major problem of traditional cooling towers. Small water droplets will flow out of the tower with the wind, wasting water resources, and may also corrode surrounding buildings and equipment, or have adverse effects on the environment. Finned tube cooling towers solve this problem through a variety of demisting technologies.
- Physical demisting: Demisting plates are installed in the cooling tower to capture and recover water droplets entrained in the air through airflow guidance. These water droplets will eventually flow back to the water pool of the cooling tower, reducing water resource losses.
- Electrostatic demisting: Some models of cooling towers use electrostatic demisting devices, which condense tiny water droplets in the air into larger particles and collect them through the principle of electrostatic adsorption. This method has a very high demisting efficiency for fine water droplets, and can usually control the drift rate to less than 0.001%.
Environmental protection and low noise design
The noise during the operation of the cooling tower is an issue that needs to be considered in the design, especially in urban buildings, commercial areas or places with strict noise requirements. The finned tube water-saving demisting cooling tower adopts the following noise reduction design:
- Low noise fan: The fan in the cooling tower is optimized and uses silent fan blades to reduce the noise generated when the air flows.
- Structural vibration reduction: The cooling tower uses vibration reduction brackets and shock-absorbing pads to reduce the noise and vibration generated by mechanical operation, ensuring the low-noise operation of the equipment.
