Nozzle
The cooling tower nozzle is a key component in the cooling tower spray system. Its main function is to disperse the hot water into fine water droplets or uniform water flow, so that the water can fully contact the cooling tower filler, thereby promoting the heat exchange between water and air and improving the cooling efficiency. The design and performance of the nozzle directly affect the overall cooling effect of the cooling tower.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
The working principle of the cooling tower nozzle is mainly to disperse water into fine droplets or uniform water flow through the pressure change of water flow and the internal structure design to improve the heat exchange efficiency between water and air. The nozzle uses the water pressure provided by the circulating pump to guide the water flow into the narrow flow channel inside it. As the water flow speed increases, the pressure in the nozzle decreases, forming a strong jet force, causing the water flow to break into many fine droplets when leaving the nozzle. This atomization effect increases the surface area of the water, so that it can contact with the air more fully, accelerate the dissipation of heat, and improve the cooling effect.
In order to optimize the water dispersion effect, the nozzle is usually designed as a swirl or spoiler structure, using the internal swirl sheet or spoiler to make the water flow rotate or turbulent. This rotation or turbulent motion enhances the atomization effect of the water, so that the ejected water droplets cover the surface of the filler more evenly, avoiding uneven cooling. By adjusting the spray angle and spray mode of the nozzle (such as direct current or conical spray), it can adapt to different cooling needs and ensure that the filler area is fully covered.
Reasonable arrangement of nozzles helps to improve the overall performance of the cooling tower, while reducing water flow resistance and achieving efficient cooling effect under lower water pressure conditions.
Features
Efficient atomization: can disperse water into fine droplets, increase surface area, and improve the heat exchange efficiency between water and air.
Adjustable spray mode: supports direct current, conical or fan-shaped spray, and the spray angle is between 60 and 120 degrees to ensure full coverage of the filler.
Durable materials: corrosion-resistant and high-temperature resistant materials (such as PVC, stainless steel or FRP) are used to adapt to harsh environments and extend service life.
Anti-blocking design: It has anti-blocking functions, such as large aperture design, which reduces the risk of impurity blockage and can be used with filters.
